Thinking Blocks – this activity gives students bar models to help solve word problems. The website works on laptops. However, they have FREE iPad apps available. They are listed on the site. The app is called “Thinking Blocks.” There are options for Addition/subtraction, Multiplication/division, Fractions and Ratios and Proportions.
